Here are the measurements of water/drink mix/alcohol (if desired) to fill ONE of the bowls. If you want to fill both bowls, double each recipe:
🥤 1. Non-Alcoholic Slushies (Standard 5:1 Ratio)
For classic cherry, blue raspberry, or cola slushies, use these proportions:
- 16 ½ cups of filtered water
- 3 ⅓ cups of commercial slush syrup
🍹 2. Classic Frozen Margaritas (Alcoholic)
Alcohol lowers the freezing point of water. This specific ratio keeps the Alcohol by Volume (ABV) around 6%, ensuring a perfectly scoopable, icy texture that will not remain liquid or freeze into a solid block:
- 13 cups of filtered water
- 4 cups of lime margarita slush syrup
- 3 cups of Tequila (80-proof / 40% ABV)
- (Optional) If you want triple sec, substitute ½ cup of the tequila for triple sec.
